Welcome to St. Paul’s!

Dear friends,

I am beyond excited to be writing you about returning to in person worship. I have been working with our district superintendent Barry Burns, and reviewing the latest information from the CDC as well as guidelines from city, state, and federal officials. We will be returning to in person worship June 14th. We will be having our 8am and 10:15 services. Here are the changes that you will see when we return.

  • We strongly urge you to wear a face covering while in the building.

  • There are homemade face masks available to take that have been made by Carol ( they are pretty stylish ðŸ˜Ž)

  • We will not be having any cookie cart offerings for awhile.

  • We will not have greeters or ushers to help maintain social distancing.

  • For the month of June will not be having Sunday school classes for adults, students, or children.

  • There will be tables set up for you to drop in your tithes and offerings as you enter or leave the church.

  • For communion we will have pre-packaged juice and wafers for you to take into the sanctuary.

  • To maintain social distancing we will ask families to sit together and spread out in the sanctuary.

  • There will be visual indicators on which pews will be available to sit in. We will skip every other pew to maintain a 6 foot distance.

  • There will be special seating available in the Library and the club 56 room upstairs. We will open the doors of these rooms overlooking the sanctuary. These spaces will be for individuals who may want more distancing and protection than the sanctuary may provide.

  • The balcony will also be available to anyone that wants to sit up there. We will need to space ourselves out in that area as well.

  • We will have hand sanitizer as you enter the building as well as in the elevator for you to use.

  • We will sanitize in between services.

  • We will record the service and have it available for online viewing later in the day. It will be available on the church youtube page, as well as emailed out.

  • There will not be any congregational singing for awhile. The music will be the prerecorded praise band for the 8am service and instrumental or solo for the 10:15 service.

  • If you are especially vulnerable to the covid-19 virus consider your risks and consider watching from home.

  • If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms please stay home.

         Fever or chills

         Sore throat

         Congestion or runny nose

        Nausea or vomiting

These changes will not be permanent and we will continually assess how things are working and make adjustments as necessary. Thank you for your support during this unprecedented time and I look forward to seeing you in person. If you have any questions you can contact the office or myself.
